Dr Raghu Kumar graduated from the University of Calicut (India) in 2000. He then trained in internal medicine, completing his Masters degree from Manipal University (India) and subsequently worked there as a clinical teaching staff.
He completed advanced training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital, obtaining his fellowship and accreditation for gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures in 2014.
Dr Kumar is a Clinical Research Fellow at Flinders Medical Centre and is currently pursuing his PhD at Flinders University. His research is focused on neuro-gastroenterology, motility and functional gut disorders. He is also involved with inflammatory bowel disease research at Flinders Medical Centre.
